The iDAM user interface is completely
web based and uses the latest
internet technologies. This facilitates asynchronous server-client processes.

iDAM stores data directly on the local
file system or any external NAS or SAN.
Metadata and application parameters are stored in
a SQL compliant database. iDAM is sold with an
included SQL Database for small to
medium size deployments. For Enterprise solutions and more advanced data requirements
purchasing a full version of a SQL
compliant Database is recommended.

iDAM is a server based digital asset management system and requires one of the following Windows Server OS's below: Download the Hardware Guidebook
- Windows 2003 Server or 2008 operating systems

iDAM is completely web based with both administrative and client controls. iDAM supports most major browsers such as:
- Internet Explorer : Version 7 or higher
- Firefox : Version 3.0 or higher
- Safari : Version 3.0 or higher
- Chrome : Version 1.0 or higher
iDAM does not require plugins to operate. However,
using certain advanced features like the
Drag and Drop and Slideshows may require additional plugins.

iDAM can manage hundreds of content repositories and supports thousands of
different file formats.
